HB5108 AN ACT PRESERVING CERTAIN HORSE TRAILS is currently on the House
Calendar. This bill would permanently protect 6 named trails that
have historically had equestrian use. It would prevent horses from
being excluded from these trails at any point in the future.
Please immediately contact your Senators and Representatives and
request that they support, or cosponsor this bill. When speaking to
legislators, please remember to be respectful and polite, and include
the bill number and title.
Some key points about the bill: It has no associated cost, it will not
prevent other trail usages, it does not expand any trail—it merely
reaffirms that horse use shall continue as an accepted use and cannot
be eliminated on those trails listed.
