Natchaug State Forest / Lost Silver Mine Horse Camp

The Connecticut Horse Council is hosting trail rides on both dates with camping available.   The Lost Silver Mine Horse Camp is  located  in Eastford in the Natchaug State Forest.  There are 3 marked trails 5, 10, & 15 miles and loop back to the camp.  Equestrians can ride out at their leisure.  There will be a Blessing of the Mounts on Saturday morning 10:00 am at the common area. These are multiple use trails so one can walk or bicycle.   Parking is available for horse trailers in the camp.  Other non-riders can park just outside the entrance to the campground.  Follow the numbered yellow diamonds (corresponding to the mileage.)  A Pot Luck dinner will follow at the end of each day.
